My love of growing large exhibition onions and leeks led me to breed the onion Ailsae and the Pot Leeks Yorkshire Green, Yorkshire Blue and Yorkshire Giant. The onion though as become my favourite vegetable to grow because its so challenging to grow to world record standards.
